Shanklin Town Council donates £4000 for Shanklin Theatre window repairs
In recognition of the increasing benefits Shanklin Theatre brings to Shanklin, the Town Council has very kindly donated £4000 to pay for ongoing repairs to the Theatre’s windows, which have lasted well but are in need of serious overhaul.
Assisting with the handover of the cheque, TV stars Brian Capron and Jenny Funnell, who are currently appearing in the play ‘Home at Seven’ at the theatre.
Representing Shanklin Town Council, Jon Gilbey (mayor), councillors Richard Priest and Sonja Ward, with Theatre staff and volunteers accepting the generous cheque.
