Island Amateur Drama Awards 2014 held at Shanklin Theatre on Tuesday 11th November.

“We are delighted to report that the play that was staged here last February ‘ The Hollow ‘, which was a major fund raiser for Shanklin Theatre, was awarded Best Play, and Denise Farrow won the award for Stage Moment of the Year for her part in ‘ The Hollow ‘.

I am also delighted to say that one of our Directors, Peter Stockman, won the award for Best Performance in a Comedy for his role in ‘Inspector Drake and the Time Machine ‘, performed during August here at Shanklin Theatre, which was most appropriate.
